The Constant Chlor Feeder is an example of a project taken by Gregstrom from concept and design through manufacturing and shipping of a finished product.

The feeder is used for mixing and dispensing disinfecting chlorine to municipal and large commercial water systems. It is made from six rotationally molded parts, one vacuum formed part and 160 other components. All wetted components are made from NSF approved materials.

Gregstrom purchases, tests and assembles all of the injection molded, blow molded, electrical and plumbing components. The rotationally molded lid and hopper incorporate molded in graphics.

The hopper holds 220 pounds of chlorine briquettes while the base holds 32 gallons of the chlorine solution. Both the hopper and the base are molded in LLDPE as double wall containers.

A specially designed pallet is also rotationally molded It holds the hopper and base mixing unit, the pump, all necessary plumbing and electronics controls and is attached through the use of molded in inserts in the pallet. The pallet allows for easy moving of the entire unit.
